My husband and I are professionals who have been exposed to multiple fields throughout our lives. Like you, we have been the recipients of promotional items, "freebies", and have "memorialized" our children growing up with a variety of products throughout the years. Sadly, many of them have not survived the pounding of everyday use. Several years ago we were introduced to products that were made using sublimation - we're still using those products, on a daily basis and they still look as great as the day we purchased them. It made believers out of us, and we're ready to make believers out of you! Using this process we want the opportunity to make something special that will serve you and give you pleasure for a very long time.
When we first started in this business, we wanted to do something special for my mom for her 70th birthday (she's going to be mad at me for divulging her age!!), so my husband and I picked out a picture of her that is one of my favorites. We cropped it, and made it even prettier by eliminating distracting backgrounds and then sublimated it onto 20x20 napkins and round neoprene coasters. They were sitting at every place setting on the night of her surprise party! What a unique way to celebrate her and the beautiful woman that she is! And what a unique favor for our guests to take home! That's what we are all about - finding that something unique for that someone special in your life. Or just finding something unique that will make you smile throughout the day when you look at that cherub face smiling back at you as you sip your coffee - that's my personal favorite. Maybe it will be yours, too! Give us a try! We'll try our hardest to make you as satisfied with our products as we have been!! br>
What Is Sublimation?
The definition of sublimation is the transition of a substance from a solid phase to a vapor phase without passing through an intermediate liquid phase. Sublimation inks are heat activated into a gas that can bond with an acrylic or polyester surface when placed under pressure. The images produced are extremely washable, scratch and peel resistant, and dishwasher safe because they are actually protected by being embedded underneath the surface. Sublimation products are limited to those items that are light or white in color and made of an acrylic or polyester substance. The inks can't bond to cotton and because the inks are transparent, they are not visible on black or dark surfaces. Over long periods of time, the inks have limited color-fastness with significant exposure to UV light, but improvements continue to be made daily, so outdoor use of sublimation is limited. The length of time that a sublimated product will survive outdoors will depend on the climate and the product and where it is placed.
